Golf Lessons
Cattails Golf Course offers great lessons from head golf professional Jon Atencio and assistant golf professional Challis Wright. For private lessons they are $65 for an hour session or $250 for a 5 pack. Cattails also offers private junior lessons for $45 an hour. If you feel like a group lesson with your friends is better for you, those are also available. Custom pricing is determined by the professional. Junior Golf
Cattails has 3 different options for junior lessons. We have the Cattails Junior Golf Program, the Jon Atencio U.S. Kids Golf Academy as well as private individual or group lessons.
The Cattails Junior Golf Program is a series of five, 1 hour group lessons for only $30 per junior. Cattails Assistant Golf Professional Challis Wright will instruct the players assisted by other Cattails staff. This is a great program for juniors of all skill ranges and is a great price! This program starts the first week in June and ends mid July.
The Jon Atencio U.S. Kids Golf Academy is geared for juniors wanting more in depth instruction with lower instructor to student ratios. This academy uses the U.S. Kids player pathway booklets to guide players in their development. Jon is a certified U.S. Kids Coach trained to aid in the development of the player. The U.S. Kids program is designed to track the students progress as well as motivate them to keep improving. Juniors will learn all aspects of the game including rules and etiquette. Jon will have 4 sessions throughout the summer. Each session costs $120 and consists of 4 lessons that last approximately 1 hour. Students also receive the appropriate U.S. Kids Pathway kit. Cattails also offers private junior lessons. The price for a 1 hour lesson is $45 per lesson. These can be booked with either Head Professional Jon Atencio or Assistant Professional Challis Wright.
